Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells & pathways in the brain & spinal cord which leads to paralysis & death. The Arizona Chapter established in 1991, provides free, local programs that enable patients & families to manage this devastating disease with dignity & hope.
